Rajendra Prasad Singh has led the Mithila Art Foundation for over 20 years, championing the preservation and global promotion of traditional Madhubani art. Under his leadership, the foundation has expanded its presence to 18 countries and forged landmark collaborations with UNESCO, the Smithsonian Institution, and multiple national ministries of culture.
A practicing Madhubani artist himself, Rajendra bridges deep artistic tradition with modern organizational leadership. He holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has been recognised with the National Cultural Excellence Award by the Government of Nepal.
